I am really happy to see that! Would anyone really want to see Stewart or Hamlin in a Toyota?

Gibbs says no Toyota announcement imminent
SCENEDAILY - 07:51AM ET SUNDAY AUGUST 26, 2007 - BY BOB POCKRASS - ASSOCIATE EDITOR
BRISTOL, Tenn. - Don't expect a Toyota announcement that Joe Gibbs Racing has joined the manufacturer's stable next week when the Nextel Cup Series heads to the backyard of Toyota's base in California.
Joe Gibbs Racing President J.D. Gibbs said no announcement is planned for the Aug. 31-Sept. 2 race weekend at California Speedway and his team is still mulling whether to extend its contract with Chevrolet.

Geez Gloria, some people just don't know a question when they see one.
I wouldn't want to see JGR going to Toyota either. I don't think that the company has proven itself as a top contender in Nascar at this stage of the game. Maybe in another year or two it possibly could. Then I think more teams will be checking them out. It would be nice to see Tony stay in a Chevy too.
It seems these days though, it all comes down to money and who has the most to offer on the bottom line.

I wish Gibbs would say no but I expect them to sign with Toyota. Money means more than loyalty to some.

I hope that they do NOT go to Toyota too, but even if they were they could not announce it because it is in their contract with Chevy that they can't negotiate with other manufacturers while under contract with them.

Thats good, it didn't seem like it would have been a good move, seeing how Toyota has been doing so far this season! Good for Gibbs making a great decision!
Go RCR!!!
Go Jeff Burton!!!

What you copied and pasted up there does not say that they're NOT goin to Toyota. It says that they're still mulling things over, which means they haven't made up their minds yet. I hope that they don't go to Toyota personally, not that it would matter to me. But your article doesn't say what you claimed it said.

Toyota sucks and so does Kyle (mr potato head) Busch. It is bad enough Tony will have to deal with him as a team mate, if he then has to drive that Jap crap, I bet he leaves JGR

I'm happy too. Not because I dis-like or dis-approve of Toyota, but because of Tony's commitment to Chevy.

i have not heard he said no but have heard rumors he would. i think they will get better and is evident in some good runs by dave blaney. they also are putting a lot of money into teams and i have heard they give way more factory support in free engines which is worth millions
