i don't think anyone would want to watch cars going around and around for a 359 laps. that is just boring. and pay $220, that is just madness. i could go on the freeway and watch cars go around for free!!! and the worst thing is that they take all the channels like it's a breaking news.

It use to be about going so fast that your ear gets torn off.

Now, past the design zynith, we are slowing the cars down under the guise of safety (don't get me wrong, I like safe).

Why not have one race, not like ACO and American Le Mans Series, but a race where the idea is to simply bring the best car, without restrictions, like the Quatro did 20 years ago.

The SCCA changed the rules every race until the Audi was as slow as the other cars. Where's the racing in that?

It would be better to move the race so that Formula 1 drivers could race in the Indy 500. For years the race used to be 3rd weekend of May and some years it was the 1st weekend of June. Believe it or not F1 drivers used to race in the Indy 500, its time to bring that back.

But we probably will have to wait until Bernie Ecclestone is in jail or in a coffin or retirement home.

I think this contest was rigged. There were better drivers to vote for. Kenny hasn't done anything this year and other drivers have done a lot more and they weren't voted in.
