I didn't see anything on it yet,it's kind of cool to see how there are doing after running the 500.It's hard enough running the 600 without racing another race first !

It is not a viable option anymore since the start of the Indy 500 was bumped back to 1 pm EST. Man it would be great to see more drivers compete in the double, guys like Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Ryan Newman would be fun to watch and make the Indy 500 a respected event again! I don't know if i could miss the Indy 500 if big name drivers were in it...the Indy 500 should be moved to Monday or else the Coca-Cola 600 moved to Monday so that drivers could compete.

I was going to but I didn't qualify for either race. My best shot was Indy. There has been a lack of drivers in the IRL for the last couple of years. Actually, I'm just kidding around a bit. The way the starting times are set right now makes it impossible, especially if there is a weather delay. The last one to try it, Robby Gordon, missed the start of the 600 and had to wait until a pit stop to get into the car. can't remember what year that was.

John Andretti is trying. But he has to make the Coke 600 first i think he is 28 starting in Indy

No. It is logistically impossible for anyone to do it. The Indy 500 starts too late in the day. The drivers would not have time to get back to Charolette before the start of the 600.

No one is, since they moved the starting time of the 600 up an hour a couple of years ago. Makes it hard to jump back and forth between Indy and Charlotte in time.

I do not think that it is possible with the 500 starting an hour later now, not to mention that the drivers can not fly in a helicopter out of the speedway due to security reasons. They would not make it in time for the 600.

regrettably no. What a mistake for Indy to go the race time? Having adult males like Hornish, Busch, Stewart, Gordon, and so on ought to basically help their reason. Its a shame the Indy 500 is the 0.33 maximum necessary race of the day at the back of Monaco and the six hundred.

Robby Gordon was the last to do it, but it started raining in Indy and he needed a replacement driver to finish because he had to get to Lowes to start the Coke 600

No one is running the 1100 this year, I guess there goes the drama of will someone make it from indi to charlotte. I think it is a big waste anyways as what kind of chance is there to win both realistically.
