No, they shouldn't change it. 43 is just the right amount, besides they have their fair share of problems with the 43 right now even on the superspeedways. Adding more cars would create bigger problems.

If the pits could handle it yes.

I always thought 50 would be a good number. Some small track just couldn't handle the crowd in the pits.

43 at Talledega is like 10 at Bristol.
Beef it up to 80 or 90. LOL

I would actually like to see a couple more added for some of the tracks. Not any of the short tracks, and not any of the restrictor plate races I think more on these could be too chaotic. Maybe some of the mile and a half tracks, and the road courses. No more than 4 extra though on those tracks.

No, they already tried that years ago then in 1974 they changed the rules to keep it at 43, and the way the sport has evolved they need to keep it that way. anymore cars on the field and there would be pandemonium on the track, any less (If a fan favorite gets left out) and there will be riots in the stands and ticket sales will take a nose dive.

more on the superspeedways would be good in some ways but you still have to deal with limited pit areas on the tracks...until that can be worked out, there is no way to change it...

I think 43 is a good number, you could put more on bigger tracks but 43 is enough.

I don't think so, the field is the field and if you don't make it in, tough. I liked the old provisional/speed system better than the top 35 rule, but I wouldn't mess with the field size. I do agree with the limit of past champ provisionals though!
