how did Mikey waltrip think he was going to get away with?

running nitro methane in his race car? a story in the national dragster said thats what they found in his gas tank. also heard the same story on radio show the drivers seat. why didnt they just add a bottle or 2 of nos then they could have went really fast. its a good thing they arnt letting him race. he should be banned from racing along with all the other cheaters

I would love to be able to listen to the race on my computer while my kids are happy watching their kids shows. Do you know of a web-site that has the races live?

Do you think it's too early to see the Number 3 Goodwrench out on the field as a tribute?

Do you think its about time to see the BLACK GOODWRENCH NO.3 out on the field? Maybe just for a tribute? I know some people think, morbit and not right. But I am a huuuuge Earnhardt fan. I drive an Initimidator SS (#1,585 of 3,333), and I think it would be amazing to see it run one time. Maybe even a new car for JR to run once he leaves DEI. Just looking for some feedback. Seeing if I'm the only one who thinks it'd be nice to see it again.

Why doesnt IROC?

I think its a little unfair for IROC to be run on NASCAR tracks. Even though the cars are all the same etc. the NASCAR drivers has some more experience on those tracks than the non NASCAR drivers. I know IROC probabl has a very good reason for not having races on tracks that non of he drivers know. But dont you think its slightly unfair for the IROC series to race on tracks that NASCAR races on the most?

A week before the organization was officially incorporated, NASCAR held its first race for modified stock cars on a 3.2 mile-course at Daytona Beach. In the 150-mile race that featured almost exclusively pre-war Fords, Red Byron edged Marshall Teague to become NASCAR's first champion. Stock car racing would become a tradition at Daytona, but pre-war Fords would not. By 1949 make and model had become NASCAR's dominant vehicle?
