Yes Toyota made a car that meets the legal criteria that NASCAR demands and they're not breaking any rules.
Look the anti-Toyota crowd is stuck back in the day when all American cars really meant made in the USA. Today this is no longer the case and besides Toyota has plants in the USA thus creating jobs for Americans.

I am thinking the whole auto industry is crazy. American cars aren't made in America any longer (except for a very few) and a lot of the "foriegn" ones are. Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, etc... All have plants in the U.S. They do this to avoid tariffs on importing. The US utilize the cheap overseas labor to make their cars. Most of the U.S. parts are made in Mexico, Canada, or China. Pretty sad isn't it?
So my answer... sure. Is there any difference anymore?

I don't see anything wrong with it. I think it makes for interesting competition. I hope that the Toyota's do well. They use Toyota & Honda engines in IRL, why not use Toyota in NASCAR.

They build the Ford in Mexico the Chevy and Dodge in Canada The Toyota is the only one built in the USA.I think it sucks but they got right to be in NASCAR .We only got ourselves to blame for it.

Nascar is totally American so I believe we should just keep American cars. I do like foreign vehicles but not in Nascar.

Yep. They met the technical requirements as provided by NASCAR; don't see it a big deal.
