Lol....I do too and I don't know why...maybe its the anticipation of wrecks? Have you been to a race yet? Once you go to a race...you get more hooked.

Im curious to see what this ARBY guy says when he answers this question. About why he likes NASCAR, cause from the sounds of it, he hates it but has a smart a*s remark to everyone's question.
The reason I like NASCAR? I started watching it around 95, and I started to like Dale Earnhardt! He's the reason I got hooked. When he died I did quit watching it as hardcore as I used to. But I am hooked yet again. Also, I go to the 2 races at MIS every year, and oh man! What an experience.

I've always loved driving fast and fast cars in general. Once I started watching NASCAR I was hooked on the sport. Someday I want to go to Daytona ....what a race. But for now I'll have to settle for TV. Why was I born poor?

For me it's the sound~go to a real race and feel the vibrations and hear the roar! There are more tickets wrote after races then any other time during the week because after the race everyone is still pumped and wants to prove their cars-lol. As for watching well I can't get to the actual races anymore so it's a nice second

I have never been to a Nascar race, but I used to go to the local dirt tracks and enjoyed them a LOT. A lot of the older racers cut their teeth on dirt tacks. I guess that is the connection.

I LIVE 4 MILES FROM MARTINSVILLE SPEEDWAY,LIVED HERE ALL MY LIFE AND IT'S PART OF MY LIFE!AS FAR BACK AS I REMEMBER THERE WAS NASCAR!FAMILY EDGEING THE OTHER GUY ON THERE IS LOTS OF EXCITEMENT IN OUR HOUSE WHEN THE RACE IS ON! My Dad did a little stock car racing when I was a kid--Got hooked then--went to Indi when I was a teenager and was just awed by the cars and crews--It's so unpredictable--you never know what's happening next!

Drama, speed, rivalries, tricky moves, crashes (if they walk away), hanging out with my friends to watch, actually having something in common with my relatives, annoying pretentious New Yorkers (I moved up here from Florida) and, oh yes, hot guys in snug fireproof suits!!!! :-)

I'm more of a local racing fan myself, but I watch it with my nephew. He enjoys watching races, but sometimes I can't take him to outdoor tracks (dirt track racing) due to the weather outside.

It is marketed very well. I love sitting around on Sundays with my buddies, drinking Bud, and screaming at the t.v.!
