I don't see what the problem people have with Montoya racing in NASCAR is. I mean he is a talented driver and I believe he will have good success.
Has everyone already forgotten that Tony Stewart basically did the same thing as Montoya? Tony Stewart was the1997 Indy Racing League champion and then moved into NASCAR's Busch series in 98. We all know how it goes from there...

As an F1 fan I feel he is doing well. I really think if you watched his performance through F1 you would agree that he was born to be a Nascar driver. A certain Brazil First corner incident comes to mind as well as Indy. The bottom line is he's great on cold tires, he has no problem bumping people out of the way, and he's great at drafting (even under hared breaking) after all that is the only real opportunity you have to pass in F1 (although he didn't do all that much in F1)

Montoya is going to be a good driver I believe. Granted he did not finish well in his first race in Nascar if you watched the race you will see he did rather well for a driver who comes from a sport where the cars are twice as wide and the cars weigh half as much ,thanks to days of thunder for that quote, He also did well in the first qualifying race. He is just having some bad luck in his first couple of races. If he gets a break I think he could win a couple of races this season. I am looking forward to seeing what he can do.

I think he will do well in NASCAR, he's been a good driver in the IRL, and I think as long as he keeps running a good car, he's going to do very well in NASCAR.
I think the reason why some people don't like him being in NASCAR is because he's not an American, like the other drivers in NASCAR.

Juan is looking pretty decent so far. He was fast in qualifying and has had good times in practice. He looked real good in his duel, he was leading for awhile, but had a problem with a wheel bearing or hub. It looks like he can draft with other fast cars and I think his open wheel experience will help other drivers feel comfortable working with him in the 500 tomorrow. It will be a tremendous learning experience but he is going to be very good in a short period of time.

He came in 30th and most of the guys that were after him wrecked. He's not doing so hot right now, but the season just began.
