I think he deserves it! A little overpaid though, but he's still young and has a lot of years to come and prove his worth.

I would like my husband (not my son's father) to take my son hunting. But we have different opinions on when would be a good age to teach my son the basics of hunting - even just to take him along for some quality Step-dad and step-son time.

My opinion is: Take him now. Teach him the safety stuff. Just spend some good quality one-on-one time (since he rarely ever does).

His opinion: He's too young. Maybe next year.

I have wondered aloud about turning back the clock in terms of different outcomes (revisionist history). This question involves a decision the Board Of Governors made over forty years ago that changed the NHL forever: expansion. What if the NHL remained a six team outfit?

Can you imagine the talent pool available to just six teams? Imagine the further dominance of the Montreal Canadiens if not only did they have to compete for talent with five other teams, but regained territorial rights? Talk about at least a three decade rein as the top NHL team! Toronto alone would have won at least four more Stanley Cups (provided there was no World Hockey Association and Wayne Gretzky fell into their laps)!

But here's the downside to the wishful thinking: could the league survive despite featuring the 180 best players in the entire world, given the other sports leagues grew as planned? This is where your imput is greatly needed, Hockey fans!

Hey everyone!
Im 16 and have been riding for a while, and i think i am ready to buy my own horse. Ive done the research and everythin, i know where i would board it, and all that stuff.
I am just wondering two things:

1. What breeds are good for a first-horse buyer? (a friend reccomended Hanoverians 'cause they have a great personality and are versatile)

and

2. How long should you have been riding before you get your own horse? Some people at the equestrian center i ride at only waited three years, some waited more. How long should you have been riding before you get your own horse, 'cause i dont want to get this horse and not be ready for it.
