My name is Frihah also spelled Faria. It means a person who always keeps others happy. Keep your cocky comments to yourself else you'll pay for it.

Andrea ORIGINATED as a Sicilian/Italian MALE name, from the Greek ἀνδρός (andros), literally meaning "MAN". English speakers, confused by what they perceive as a feminine ending to the name, began using Andrea as the female version of Andrew . In Sicily and Italy, calling a girl Andrea was equivalent to calling her mannish.

this is an extremely stupid and immature question, if you check granny's answer you'd see that it is an extremely popular Latin-based name used all over the world. Andrea the female version was bastardized in English. (no offense to andrea)
