Alan Eagleson was such a piece of garbage that his Hockey Hall of Fame induction was rescinded. He should have received a crosscheck to his face by Bobby Orr and the other players he ripped off throughout the years.

1. Alan Eagleson. I loved the guy - until the reality of what he did set in.
2. Gil Stein - He probably would have gotten into the Hall of Fame anyway, but placing yourself there because you were league president without going through the formal process placed a black eye on himslef and the process in general.
3. Craig Redmond, Mario Lemieux, Eric Lindros, and Lawrence Courville - the NHL has a draft in place that tells you who you can play for - don't be an *** and try and dictate where you want to play - your chance will come soon enough

1. Ulf Samualson (for giving the hit that ultimately ended Cam Neely's career)

For those who voted for Chris Chelios: do you actually understand why he didn't shake hands? In a past edition of the Hockey News, he describes how when the Wings lost to the Ducks, he broke down. All of the emotions he kept in over the murder of two of his employees came out. You make an assumption he was a sore loser. The Ducks understood...how come hockey fans don`t.... Read this:

Um, we have grant fuhr, the great crackhead goalie, chris chelios,he didn't shake hands with anaheim ducks after they got whupped. Danny Briere, he left buffalo because he didn't get 7 million bucks over 4 years.We have Alex Ovechkin, who slammed Briere in the boards ON A LINE CHANGE,the piece of crap.

Bettman's the obvious for us simple fans. There's Clarence Campbell for suspending Richard which resulted in that riot in '55, Alan Eagleson for...well, everything he has ever done in hockey (like stealing money from players' pensions)...those two are the biggest douchebags I can think of. Conn Smythe gets honourable mention, but what he did back then was considered acceptable. Steve Moore also gets honourable mention for being Steve Moore.
Zap, I wouldn't say Cuthbert's dumb. She was one of the two hosts for Popular Mechanics for Kids way back when, did a really good Canadian indie movie about a teen with a gambling problem, and she played (plays still?) Jack Bauer's daughter. All of those were done with brains. I think with House of Wax and that new one coming out on DVD soon ("Captivity" is it?), she just needed the money. Cheesy teen thrillers always draws money. Just look at the Saw series. And wasn't it Avery who broke up with her? What an idiot....
Whoop, my bad. That "Canadian indie movie" is actually a made-for-tv movie called "Lucky Girl." Still a good movie and probably partially funded by some provincial gambling prevention group.

General thuggery and stupidity: Marty McSorley for the Donald Breshear incident. He gets bonus accolades for being caught with an illegal stick in Game 2 of the 1993 Cup.

Erica, Cuthbert is dumb as a bag of hammers and McSorley should get his own wing in the Hall of Dumbsh!ts for his illegal twig.
As for all-time douchebags, tough to top Eagleson, but I'll go with Ulf Samuelsson and Darius Kasparaitis. I know this will get Pens fans' dander up, but Avery is a choir boy compared to the antics of those two yo-yos.
