...for JGR fans, is Kyle Busch that guy? Most people can not stand the Busch Brothers (Me), but are you glad to see him teamed with Stewart and Hamlin? Does he make that team stronger?

I know that it is early in the story line of this on Raw but just curious as to what other people think as to who maybe his child. I personally think it would be funny to see it be Eugene and see the look on McMahon's face. Appreciate any and all answers and opinions.

what is with everyone always moaning and b*tching about who the yankees have and how much money they've got? i bet you wouldnt' be saying that if your team had that kind of money. at least steinbrenner spends his money he makes on the team to make them better. the st louis cardinals make MILLIONS in the past couple years from the final season at the old busch to the season at the new busch stadium...PLUS dont forget how much they made in the world series..would you like to tell me who they have spent their hard earned money on in the off season? not pitching i can tell you that. they moved i think 3 relief pitchers into the starting rotation! how rediculous is that!?!? cardinals owners are probably sitting on some islands down in the carribean right now as the team sucks a**. alls i can say is..at least the yankees spend their money on the team to win more. plus, steinbrenner donated a million dollars to virginia tech.

I ask only because I keep maintain and use my survival kit on a regular basis. The most dangerous hunts I do are hound hunts where I wait for fresh snow and head for the highest altitude I can drive to then hike in on foot. Also these hunts are done at night. I have spent many nights in the cold looking for my hounds and making my way back to my truck. Anyways I recently looked online for a list of items and could not find anyone who had a good list. The reason I say this is either they have way to much to carry, or not enough to survive, and lastly not one single kit contained toilet paper. Not one! I don't go in the woods with out TP. I call it mountain money. All kidding aside though, what is in your backpack and what activity do you participate in that requires you to have such a kit? Can you carry your bag comfortably over miles of rough country with no roads or trails? I have found that my pack has evolved over the years and varies slightly from season to season. Oregon hunter

Houston or St. Louis could technically be considered WEST, at least enough to get things evened out. They switched teams and leagues a few times in the name of evening out the divisions, why this unevenness? Does anyone know anything about this?

How is a golf course in penn, open year round?

2007-08-13 16:18:22 · 5 answers · asked by Anonymous in Golf

Ok, let's say your American League Baseball team has a reliever who hits better than most of your regular guys, you use him as your DH.

Late in the game you need him as a specialist for a particular batter. Can he enter the game as the pitcher? If so, can he come to bat the next time that spot is up? I assume so.

So what if he gets his guy, and another reliever is put in. Does that guy HAVE to hit in the DH/pitcher spot, or could you pinch-hit for the pitcher spot, and go to another reliever?

Last question: Would there be any way to use a position player/ hitter AFTER your DH/ pitcher entered the game as a pitcher? Or would it turn into NL rules?

Think about it and give me your thoughts, opinions, or knowledge on the subject.

randy moss, joey harrington, and clinton portis, terry glenn for LT and michael jenkins

I would be getting randy moss, joey harrington, and clinton portis, terry glenn. I need a qb (you start 2, but my 2nd starter is jamarcus russell) and all the starters are taken. glenn would sit the bench.

Should i take it?
Is moss going to be the moss of old?
Are moss and portis going to be slowed by their injuries?

Michael Vick is facing the end of his career over his dog-fighting involvement.

Meanwhile, St. Louis Rams defensive end Leonard Little is still playing ... even after killing someone in a DUI accident in '98, then getting arrested for DUI again in '04 only to get off on a technicality.

Does the NFL care more about dogs than it does about people? Does society in general care more about animals than it does about people?

Maybe it's just me, but I see some out-of-whack priorities here!

Runner on third, no one out. Batter hits a fly ball to deep right field. The runner tags up. The right fielder, knowing the run will score as soon as he official catches the ball, starts juggling the ball while running toward the plate (he's a good juggler). He gets to the infield and finally takes possession of the ball, so the runner can't in theory leave third.

I couldn't find a rule against this in a quick search of the book, but I would guess it would be considered an attempt to deceive the runner and would be illegal -- batter out, but runner allowed to score.

Opinions?

I have taken Aikido for a little while now. However when we practice the "attacker" doesn't EVER resist during drills! I have to let out of shape people who are half my size and a 1/16 of my strength submit me EVEN though I could easily pull away or throw them or punch them or kick them or even choke them out!!!!!!!!! I let the Sensei put a wrist and arm lock on one of my arms, but I had to hand him a OPEN HAND! The whole time I knew I could easily escape! And who the hell hands someone there hands so they could put a lock on it! Am I wrong about this or has anyone used Aikido IN REAL LIFE ATTACKS AND HAD IT WORK!??? The little skinny and fat guys and gals in the class think this stuff works you should see them!!!!!!!!

I am thinking of switching to Krav Maga! I just did a Krav session and it was REALLY realistic. During just the drills the "attacker" would actually try and hit you!

I've been told that it is because a team hasn't played as many games as the team that is ahead. well that's fine if a team has played more games but they are a whole game ahead because they played an extra game. there is no such thing as a half a game, unless the game is in progress. you either have a full game or no game. there is no such thing as a half a game. Maybe this so many games and a half behind needs to change. I've told this to many people and they agree with me and don't understand it other than that is how people refer to it as. I've never head in any other sports when a team is behind. that "they need 4 1/2 points to make the playoffs" as in hockey, or i've never heard that in football term being used in football either.

The reason I ask is that I see that Billy Tibbets has been arrested yet again. Has anyone ever come close to being such a dick as this guy?

Billy Tibbetts back in trouble againToday @ 1:33 PM ET | Comments (8)
Billy Tibbetts continues to be hockey's version of the picture of Dorian Gray. He piles up misdeeds and his legacy gets uglier and uglier, yet he somehow always finds a way to get one more sucker to give him another chance.

Tibbetts, who has been with 14 different NHL, minor league and European teams since the Pittsburgh Penguins gave him a chance in 2000 to start living down the ugliness of his 1994 rape conviction and subsequent probation violations, may finally have run out of chances.

In the most recent incident, the 32-year-old Tibbetts was arrested for the second time in four months after leading police on a high speed chase. He will be arraigned today.

Tibbetts, who slammed his car into a utility pole during the chase and ran into the woods to evade police, is charged with a host of offenses, including resisting arrest.

Last season, Tibbetts played 19 games in Finland's SM-Liiga with HPK Hämeenlinna and HIFK Helsinki. As has happened in other stops during his career, groups of fans and the media protested him presence in the league.
