I just cleaned and reassembled pistol. Now the slide is locked closed. Help???

Is it new? You have to break in the buffer/recoil spring. shoot a few hundred rounds to break it in and leave the slide locked back over night.
If its not new and is just stuck/locked its possible you didnt pur the spring in when you assembled it or maybe your spring is bent and locked up or something is broken
let me know how it turns out
Iwould just beat the thing with a bat till it gave in good luck

Make sure that the locking mechanism that releases the slide to be disassembled is not jammed in the lock position. Make sure the mag is out of the gun, also make sure the decocker is did not malufunction. You can also go to the store you bought it from and ask them. They should be able to help out. As for the guy with a Glock...Do not listen to him. Sig is way better than glock. Hell I would pick a NAA .22 over a Glock.LOL

I have a P226 as well as a Glock, don't listen to the dumbass that told you to get a Glock.
Do you know where the slide release is located? Just joking, you probably do.
Read the instruction manual, you probably did something wrong in the reassembly.

I don't have that much experience with the Sig, but it the sequence for taking it apart and putting it back together is more complicated that, say a 1911. If you missed a step or forced something, then you are looking at a trip to a Sig trained gunsmith.
