The reason I ask is that I see that Billy Tibbets has been arrested yet again. Has anyone ever come close to being such a dick as this guy?

Billy Tibbetts back in trouble againToday @ 1:33 PM ET | Comments (8)
Billy Tibbetts continues to be hockey's version of the picture of Dorian Gray. He piles up misdeeds and his legacy gets uglier and uglier, yet he somehow always finds a way to get one more sucker to give him another chance.

Tibbetts, who has been with 14 different NHL, minor league and European teams since the Pittsburgh Penguins gave him a chance in 2000 to start living down the ugliness of his 1994 rape conviction and subsequent probation violations, may finally have run out of chances.

In the most recent incident, the 32-year-old Tibbetts was arrested for the second time in four months after leading police on a high speed chase. He will be arraigned today.

Tibbetts, who slammed his car into a utility pole during the chase and ran into the woods to evade police, is charged with a host of offenses, including resisting arrest.

Last season, Tibbetts played 19 games in Finland's SM-Liiga with HPK Hämeenlinna and HIFK Helsinki. As has happened in other stops during his career, groups of fans and the media protested him presence in the league.

288- yeah, I don't know about Danton being a dick. He was just a product of society. David Frost probably deserved a price on his head.

Sounds like he should have a roster spot open for him on the Cincinnati Bengals.

Mike Danton. Sure, it was one of the most messed up thing in the history of crime and human sexuality, let alone hockey itself, but he was convicted so he is, technically, a criminal.

NHL non-players: David Frost (obviously) and Alan Eagleson.

Bryan Fogarty had a few run ins with the law, mostly drug related. He probably went through 20+ teams before calling it a career. Unfortunately, he died a few years while vacationing in S. Carolina.

Tibbetts and heatley are the most popular ones. Other then a couple more, the NHL is a lot cleaner then football.

Todd Bertuzzi almost killed someone. He went after Steve Moore in a gutless, and the police thought, criiminal way. Had it not been for Moore's teamates, who drug that lowlife off, he would have died. Moore has never played a gain.

I'm sure Tibbets takes the cake. I can't think of anyone worse than that.

Then again, goalies rob people all the time...
