Everyone has heard about Michael Vick's indictment on the dog fighting issue, the pending indictment of NBA referee Tim Donaghy on point shaving and the steroids problem in baseball. What were a few of the biggest off-ice scandals to hit the NHL. I am more than familiar with the stick swingings and the Bertuzzi incident, I would like to steer this in another direction.

I offer Mike Danton attempting to hire a hitman to murder his agent, David Frost, as my nomination. Has there been a bigger off ice scandal in the NHL?

also, as i was reading an ESPN article (which made a lame attempt to try to cover the subject ... which is kinda why i'm taking the lazy route and asking the question ... but i also want to know your opinions and rumors), i came across an interesting "claim" ...

I was just wondering because they burn it in my martial arts school, but I never asked what kind. It does smell faintly sweet and has a red stem. It also looks like it is actively burned in Buddhist temples. If anyone knows what kind of incense it is, please post! Thanks.

these days everybody focus on 2 players:federer and nadal.but they aren't the only 2 talented players i saw in past few years.
i first saw andy playing back in 2001 and i said to my self that this guy is very talented!since then i tried to follow his career and all i can say that he constanly improved his game.
then it was only his serve, forehand and,most of all, the desire to win.now he can hit a backhand not to mention that he is starting to look good at the net,he dare to make a volley.
all this should make him a real grand slam titles challenger!
the things i don't like at andy:
1.lack of flexibility in his strategy, and the most recent example is the wimbledon qf with gasquet when he didn't try anything to stop that fantastic backhand that gasquet used to humiliate him;
2.mental weekness.he can hit an ace when he need the most ,can win the game even from 0-40,but cannot keep the same level 'till the end.and what facing federer meens to him, no comment!

My parents have this wacky notion that they are computerized on screen because of the fact that the signs are switched between innings and/or commercials. That may be completely possible, but I insist to them that they are actual signs that are switched or rotated via sign-rotating-machine or just changed by hand. Silly question, I know. But it's an ongoing debate between us.
