I would have to put them in this order:
1- Willie Mays (greatest I ever saw)
2- Mickey Mantle (bad knee's kept him from being the best)
3- Ty Cobb (great from everything I hear and his numbers)
4- Tris Speaker (same as #3)
5- Joe DiMaggio (somewhat overrated)
5- Ken Griffey (somewhat underrated because of injuries)
I had to get Griffey in there so let's just call it a tie for 5th place.

1. Willie Mays- Forget Centerfielder... GREATEST PLAYER EVER.

2. Ken Griffey Jr.-If not for injuries may very well have been best ever. The guy had everything that you could ever want in a player (power, speed, a bazooka for an arm, and hustle)

3. Mickey Mantle- The second greatest Yankee ever behind The Bambino..... and that is saying something.

4. Ty Cobb- Great pure hitter, highest career BA ever.... and a first class jerk.

5. Andruw Jones- Kind of a Ken Griffey Jr. mini-me... just not as talented.

1) Ty Cobb / The Georgia Peach was the most fierce center fielder in the game.

2) Mickey Mantle / What can you say about the Yankee's fair haired boy, the Mick had it covered.

3) Ken Griffey Jr / He's been hurt alot, but Griffey Jr did enough when he wasn't to cement his spot in the game.

4) Ichiro / His arm scares base runners, his speed puts him in front of the ball, and his uncanny ability for the game.

5) Jim Edmonds / This guy makes my list because he is simply amazing, no matter how hard it's hit, he finds it and brings it down, he's quick enough and still has an arm.
5)
