Don't get me wrong, I love the Red Sox's but they have given us so many reasons to believe they will blow this as of June 24 10.5 game lead. I don't really care about the post season, just can they win the Divison????????

they also are playing pretty well in the cws. big win over ncs yesterday and i am looking for a win today to wrap this thing up and repeat. what do you think about the beavers and the cws in general?? must be a bummer for the national media to have to cover them again or any oregon team for that matter...hahahahaha

Ok this is just a really whimsical random question. I seen the Streetcarver board, and thought it looked fun.

However, the reality is, at nearly 30, not a small guy and not an athlete--perhaps this is an early version of a midlife crisis style whim :-).

What would you do?
Buy a carver, fall off a few times, give up and Ebay it?

Browse a whole load, get totally discouraged by the fact that there are 12 yr old experts old there who can do anything with anything skateboard-like...and save your money?

Or actually go the whole hog, get one and find that after a few frustrating months you can do a straight line, steer adequately and have lost a belt notch in belly line in the process? Therefore only looking half as stupid on the thing as when you started?

Begs the final part of the question....is there a place in the UK where an "old" beginner would even look remotely not out of place?

Just interested to see what various folks come back with ;).

i have a 10 yr old son that plays several sports and i need to learn how to deal with these parents at tournaments. they suddenly become coaches and critics of everyone, much worse than regular league games. the dads scream to their kids and others what to do. some kids yesterday were confusted and didnt know what to do because their coaches are on one side of the field and the dads are at the other and everyone is just screaming at them! they also say things outloud that put down our own team mates. ie- one dad would scream "pass the ball, pass the ball" and then mutter outloud "he wants it all for himself" when it was another kid with the ball. but everytime it was his son there he is screaming "go go go,take it,take it,take the shot" even if he was just as blocked from the defense as the other kids were.
how do i learn to cope with these people? earplugs, ipods? they are so loud its hard to ignore and telling them off only makes me feel worse. i have to change since they wont!

Im a big Falcons fan and im not sure how there gonna do this yr. They got Joe Horn and Joey Harrington but Vick might get suspened because of what he did. They got an ok defense and got warrick dunn and a couple other young wide recievers . So predict for me how they falcons will do.

I have seen lots of questions on Ric Fliar and Booker, be it King Booker, or Booker T.

In my opinion, you just can not compair these two. Booker may have held more titles, but he has not achieved the legendary statues like Flair has. Give the man about ten more years, and then he can be compaired to Flair. like i said, thats my opinion.

So, in your opinion, and i will not choose a best answer my self, i will let this go to vote, because I am a Flair fan, Who is better and why you think he is better, Flair or Booker?
