Don't get me wrong, I love the Red Sox's but they have given us so many reasons to believe they will blow this as of June 24 10.5 game lead. I don't really care about the post season, just can they win the Divison????????

Duh...of course they can win the division. They're ahead of the Yankees and have a good record so far so yea they'll win. The Red Sox are awesome, Yankees SUCK!!!!!!

The Sox have done a great job re-building that lead that they squandered a few weeks ago against the Yanks. Around the all-star break we have a few home series against teams that you enjoy seeing come to town (Rangers, D-Rays, Royals, White Sox) while at the same time the Yankees are hosting Oakland, Minnesota and the Angels. There is opportunity to increase the lead over the next month. Though it is still very early in the season to be TOO confident (injury concerns with Schilling, hitting concerns with Lugo and JD Drew), I believe that this year the Red Sox will jump past the Yankees and take the AL East (and the Yankees will NOT make the playoffs).

Red Sox are on pace to win 104 but they probably won't keep this pace up so lets say they go 95-67 for the Yankees to beat them they would have to go 60-30 the rest of the year to beat the Red Sox by a game. So I don't see this happening unless the Red Sox have a dramatic collapse.

You can't say we'll defintly win because after the All Star break hasn't been our best friend...but if we miraciously don't win the divison we'll win the Wild Card.
The 07 Red Sox I think is better than the 04 Sox.
Our pitching is so much better.

I would say they are in good shape to win their division. They have a great pitching staff, and a powerful offense.
The Yankees are relying on old players in a young league. I say Red Sox take the division and Yankees clinch wild card.

Curt Schilling may have an impact. He is a good player.

Yes, they will win the division...They are still running away with it, even when they struggle for 2 or 3 games...
