this is going to be my first time playing soccer. i have been playing basketball and been running in track so im pretty much in shape. so i was wondering what stuff do i need, im pretty sure im going to be a goalie, but other than that are there some drills to do to get better with the ball?

I'm 15, on my high's school's track team, and hadn't done track in 5 years. The past 3 weeks have been brutal because I was so out of shape, but instead of getting faster I was getting slower, and my knees hurt like hell. I went to the doctor and got an x-ray, and what I thought was osgood-schlatter was really tendonitis. I think it's only in my right knee, but my left one hurts a little, too. I start physical therapy on tuesday. How long do you think I'll be out? Am I gonna miss the whole season? I'm a sprinter and a jumper, so i obviously can't do those without risking a tendon tear.

I tend to think Carr could still be a good QB if he had a line to protect him. Nobody has been sacked more than him over the last 4 years. Chicago's line has done an above average job and might make Carr more comfortable back there.
