Seeing as she is a half sister to the filly you mentioned, whether it is the Royal Academy or Luhuk I think you should be extremely happy if you can get $50k for it, even more so if its barren, and you're selling her as a broodmare. I hate to burst your bubble, but there is only 1 other graded winner in the first 4 dams and 3 stakes winners total (one of them at Charles Town). Also, judging by the sales prices of the 2 other fillies out of that dam, they probably aren't the best looking fillies out there. If you are trying to sell the 2yo as a racing prospect you may get a little more than $50k, but the dam doesn't seem to throw the soundest foals out there. If you get what you want all the power to ya, but I really can't see it happening, maybe if her family was alot deeper.

Added: Her mare sold for $370k in foal to Northern Afleet, weeks after the filly won the Santa Ynez, I saw the filly then subsequently break down at Keeneland. The price was inflated because of the potential of that filly. Also, just because the mare sold for that doesn't make the unraced foal worth it. I have mares who are halfs to champions, graded stakes placed, halfs to graded winners that made more than the filly you mentioned. A mare whose foal sold for $550k, and many others who went for six figures, before I bought them, and I didn't pay anything close you what you are asking. Call up an agent in KY and if they want to give you that then good for you but horses that you mention are a dime a dozen, expecially with no depth in the family. Like I said if your selling the 2yo as a racing prospect you may get a little more, but its getting pretty late to sell 2yo's and Luhuk isn't the most popular sire. Both other fillies out of that dam sold for $1,200 and $12,000 for a reason, if you flip it into $300k then good for you. There are alot of people out there with lots of money and stupid agents so who knows you may get it, but I suggest trying to sell it on a site other than this one. I really don't think I need to wake up.
