very intersting. ur pitching has some big question marks in the form of AJ Burnett and todd jones. and eben papelbon and schilling arent rock solid. I like them though. and I suggest somehow you get Zumaya as insurance. and you need to make a trade. You have rollins at util. tahts crazy. and since you have adrian gonzalez (who is a top 5 1B if only he didnt play at Petco) on the bench. hes very worthy of starting. I cna see a .300 85 30 90 season from him. I think you trade Hanley (hes young and very volatile/streaky) for a 3B. someone like Aram who gives you great power that you sorta need. So my main advice is to trade rollins/hanley (preferably hanley) for a 3B like Aram or atkins (preferably Aram cuz he has 40Hr potential). and then after youve made such a trade start adrain gonzalez. good team. 8

of- damon will bag 25-30 and hit 20+homers witht the short porch in left at yankee stadium
ut- rollins another speed threat will see more pitches with howard behind him
bench- gonzalez is a great sleeper pick good for 30 homers
bench- cuddyer will get ya 30/120/.300 hitting between mauer and morneau

Great team for a 12 team league. You will win SB with Ramirez, Soriano, Crawford, Damon, Rollins. Middle of the pack in power. Piazza might turn out to be a great pick at C since he will get a lot of at bats at DH. People will be jealous you have Kendrick. You got an underrated Papelbon (because people thought he'd be a starter). Webb & Sabathia will put up quality numbers. Your lineup is strong, and while your pitching is probably slightly above average it will be easy to make some moves after the season starts, depending on who is on fire.

Looking at your team I must say that I am quite impressed. It is obvious to me that you must be very experienced and possess a great deal of baseball savvy. Your team is among the finest that I have seen this season and I commend you on your choices.
You have assembled a team with a great mix of speed and power, as well as a very solid pitching staff. Although there may be some injury concerns, the depth that you have built into this team is extraordinary. You appear headed to victory and a very satisfying season.
If you haven't done so, I suggest that you look into the possibility of making this more than a hobby. You certainly have some keen insights on the way a baseball team is assembled.
Good Luck

If this was Roto, this will work, but for h2h , your overload offensively. All those extra players will do you no good on the bench (they accumilate no point). Besides the speed for stolen bases, you don't have very much power. Delgado and Piazza won't carry you the whole season. Now Soriano speaks for himself. You need to pick some rp's. RP's are the secret weapons. They will keep your era, whip low....get you saves and wins. You shoud try and make a trade to pick up at least 1 more RP/Closer.

You have a TON of speed in Soriano, Crawford, Damon and Rollins. But very little power.

I'd try to trade a guy like Damon or Crawford for a power OF like Matt Holliday or Carlos Lee.

Additionally, i'd try to get a 3rd closer. Joe Borowski is probably available on waivers and is a decent, underrated closer.

Other than that you've got a good team,

You have an awesome outfield but your Relief Pitchers could use some work. Adrian Gonzalez is going to have a break out year, and look for cuddyer to put or good numbers batting between Joe mauer and justin morneau.

You've got a very fast team, but you will not finish anywhere near the top. Piazza is a has been...he won't get much playing time, because Thomas is the DH and they have Kendall at catcher too. Delgado is overrated, so much so that even a lot of my Met friends have treated him like he's got the plague. You have potential at the rest of you're infield but they are all pretty young and inexperienced. I think most of them will be dissappointing.

I'd be worried about injuries on that pitching staff. Most of them have had injury problems before....I wouldn't be shocked if at least 3 of them spend at least some time on the DL this year.

i might value your group a pair of 35 with 50 being the ideal. you have a good batting order yet might desire to be upgraded on the middle infield positions or catcher. or you will possibly desire to get yet another good outfielder and play Upton at 2B. and that i might seem to enhance your pitching, Phil Hughes oy the manhattan Yankees is getting close to to coming off of the DL and has been surprising in his rehab starts. Dont forget approximately he had a appropriate sport dealing with 5+ innings in the previous he have been given injured and went on the DL.

Great team.
Though Todd Jones might be shakey at closer because of Joel Zumaya.
