No matter what you people say about how much the wwe stinks and its all fake and everything, there is no denying that vince mcmahon and all the people at the wwe could still put butts, in those seats. It seems to me that there is more parody, more heart from players, they are not as greedy because they turn down Major league contracts to go play in college. Not to mention the fact that there arent any steroids scandals (and I'm not incinuating that all college baseball players are clean, but they certainly are much more reasonable as far as size). I am just wondering what others think, because I live in the south and college football and college basketball are overwhelming favorites over the professional leagues, and its obviously not because of talent.

I'm slowly becoming a huge NCAA basketball fan. Just men's. im not sexist - i just dont follow women's sports a lot. My favorite team is Texas. he doesnt get nearly enough credit, cuz even though he never shuts up, and is kind of a punk, he is still a good player

Dave Meltzer from Wrestling Observer, one of the best and most-informed members of the MMA media, has some major news regarding the rumored sale of PRIDE Fighting Championships to Frank and Lorenzo Fertittas, the primary owners of the Ultimate Fighting Championships. According to Meltzer, PRIDE employees have been notified of a pending sale.

Additionally, PRIDE boss Nobuyuki Sakakibara has told his employees he is leaving the company but that all of their jobs are safe.
