i want to start an angry rant and have everyone yell how much they hate him, but im sure if he was on your team you'd love him
he doesnt get nearly enough credit, cuz even though he never shuts up, and is kind of a punk, he is still a good player

Sean Avery can definately be a pain. But now that hes on the New York Rangers hes become more positve toward the game of hockey. im not a rangers fan but Sean Avery is definately behaving better and isn't giving cheap shots.

Okay 4 months ago I could have cared less about this guy he couldn't be further from New York if he tried. I have to say I LOVE HIM.... as a Rangers fan he is wonderful he is not overrated, 2 goals the other night and no its not Shanny who made him better he was doing well the whole time Shanny was gone. He does what he is paid to do. I love HIM he annoys the life out of Brodeur and made him lose his cool that to me is worth all the money in the world. You can hate him if you want but we love him in New York...

Though I hate his guts whenever the Flames play him, I would love to have that kind of player on my team. If everyone on the opposing team was concentrating on what an *** he is, they would be distracted, and that would give my team an advantage. And yes, you can't discount his offensive skills. Though very annoying, a Sean Avery type of player is very valuable for any team.

I dont care how good avery is, he is the dirtiest cheapest player with the biggest mouth. MAXIM did an interview on him and they polled the NHL, and yes sean avery is the most hated player in the NHL. Hes a scumbag that gives the NHL a bad image (almost as bad as bettman does)

I'm a Red Wings fan.
Avery started his career as a Red Wing.
I didn't like Avery then.
The Red Wings traded him away to Los Angeles. I was happy he was gone.
In return, the Wings got Mathieu Schneider, who has just been awesome for the team.
So, in the end, I didn't even like him on my favorite team.

You know what I have to say he is in the NHL and your not so he must be a good hockey player and he is he may tick a lot of people off but in my point of view I like the guy he is a good hockey player.

I didn't like him when he was on the Wings and I can't stand him now.
He's a cheap dirty player. Loves to agitate but when whomever he is agitating has had enough and wants to drop the gloves Avery runs and hides.
He's a wuss.

I was glad to see him leave the Kings. I think the Guy is very OVERRATED. Sure, he gets under the opponents skin, but that was MORE than compensated for by the dumb penalties and baggage the teammates had to carry.

Whats your question? Do you like him or not? He is like a matt Cooke or a Derek Boogaard, just like you said he's awesome on your team but you hate him if he's not. I personally like Avery.
