yes he had a tryout for the Minnesota Vikings http://www.vikings.com/player_detail_objectname_brock_Lesnar.html and was close to being picked for the team. However he missed a few training sessions so the team management decided his heart wasn't in playing football so they cut him.

Brock Lesnar tried out for the Minnesota Vikings , but they cut him because he wasn't NFL talent material. He has been trying to get permission from the WWE to wrestling for a federation in Japan, but I am unsure if he's been cleared yet to wrestle for the Japanese promotion.

yeh he was picked up by the Vikings as a Defensive Tackle, but he was cut during training camp - couldn't happen to a bigger punk!
