i'm looking forward to Las Vegas ( i want to see what the new track with look like) , Martinsville Speedway, and the Milwaukee Mile speedway (i live in milwaukee, and the Busch series is the only NASCAR event coming to Milwaukee, and i plan on going to that one).

This guy is a terrible human being, and a black eye for the entire league.
I really think the NBA should strongly consider banning Ron Artest for life.

Whether he's commiting dirty fouls on the court, breaking expensive equipment, turning his back on his teammates, going into the stands after fans, neglecting animals that are in his care, or now, beating on a woman, this guy is a disgrace, and should belong behind bars. Not on a basketball court, getting paid millions of dollars.

The fact that he's a terrific defender, and a very good all around basketball player, is really beside the point. He's just going to continue to cause problems, regardless of what teams he may play for.

i currently own a San Francisco Giants hat that i wear around a moderate amount of the time...and i was thinking about buying an Oakland A's hat to replace that hat...would it be weird to wear an A's hat after wearing around a Giants hat? I used to live really close to San Francisco so i kinda grew up in my earlier years around the giants but since i moved further away (i live closer to oakland now...about an hour away from san francisco) i have grown to like the A's more...i kinda regret my decision to buy the giants hat first, since i like the A's more and i know there is a rivalry between the 2 teams. im in high school, and im worried people might think im stupid for wearing an A's hat after wearing the giants one around. would this be too weird?

The only one I know for sure was Jack Sharkey, heavyweight champion from '32-33.

Sharkey fought Dempsey in 1927, it was after Dempsey lost the title to Tunney, and before their "long count" rematch. It seems that this was an "eliminator" match with a title shot going to the winner. It was the first million-dollar gate for a non-title fight. Dempsey won with a 7th round knockout.

In 1936 Sharkey was matched up with Joe Louis. It was Louis's first fight after his loss to Max Schmeling. Sharkey had been retired after losing his title in 1933. He was still a draw, offered a nice payday and took it. He was knocked out in the 4th.

This is not a racist question. It is more about "Black Representitives" of the era. I am part black, my grampa was full. Don't give me any crap, I know the stories of those days. But if Tyson were champ sometime in that era, would he have made blacks looks bad azz, or made them come across as savages. How would that effect boxing and American life if at all?
