I'm 5'8, 178 pounds, and i run a 5.2, what football position should i play?

I don't know if this interests you or not, but the Detroit Lions would be very interested in you for their offensive line.

u shoouldnt be playing football man, try cricket, 5'8 and 178 LBS. with 5.2 will not cut it anywhere, Mike Hart and Garrett Wolfe were the only guys at the D-1 level this year to pull off having almost that small a body, and i'll bet u they run a 'little' faster than you.

depends on what level of play you are at JV maybe a QB, or full back maybe even TE or WR and linebacker...varsity you'd better have a good arm because 5.2 kinda slow for a skill position and you seem small for a lineman so QB is your best bet

With your height and your speed they would probably put you on the o-line but if you gain speed then there is a chance to get a defensive position such as DT,DG,CB or LB. If want to see for yourself were you would fit you could watch the NFL Network, right now they are showing the NFL combine, which is draftees showing there talents to scouts and coaches.

i say left out ur to small kid just give up i no 6th graders taller then u. Im a 5th grader and u have an inch on me and im not even the tallest in my grade.

If you can throw, QB...Otherwise, if you can catch WR...although you could improve on that 5.2...I assume that is a 40...If you are quick, you could always play DB...

im guessing ur in mid skewl otherwise those are some rlly rlly bad numbers...regardless i would suggest safety unless u can throw then QB

your 5'8 so dont play receiver and it sounds like your a strong kid so i would say Defensive End or tackle

I think based on your description, safety is your place, in the future if you gain height and weight, linebacker and tight end.
