Depend on which karate and how the gym train. In your case, no, not at all. In fact I probably would try to avoid you simply because I don't want to pretend your instructor is the most powerful man in the world and you're the top 10 fighter on this planet when you actually can't even throw a proper punch.

If a chick actually do a real karate that is effective then I probably would like her. And no I won't be scared of them.

Karate is for you own self disipline and defense. Never use it to attract a guy. Some guys like strong women while others don't so it depends on the guy regardless. I take karate and over 50% of the class are women.

i'm 5'4" and quite petite (short legs). I practice in TKD, Aikido, Jujutsu, Judo, Shotokan Karate. length actual has an result on how I practice. there are particular issues that are more durable: kick someone tall contained in the genuine, uchi mata a lengthy legged man or woman, grappling with someone 100lbs heavier than i'm. and some issues are less complicated for me: a decrease middle of gravity helps less complicated throws mainly, quickness, I make a more durable (smaller) objective, only the right aspect for a depraved punch to the picture voltaic plexus. to save education the failings that are more suitable difficul makes me exponentially more suitable in different aspects. you are able to play the hand you're dealt (hmmmm, this sounds commonly used). ideas could properly be adjusted for your needs and skills. hit upon a reliable sensei who can help you pull all of it jointly. I particularly have.....And NO, chicks do not dig cauliflower ears!!!!

Look. Guys dig chicks REGARDLESS of WHAT martial art they choose to study!!

And yes, he will be a little scared, but that element of uncertainty about whether or not you will kill him with a side kick to the throat the next time he leaves the toilet seat up will only add needed spice to the relationship!

Thank you, come again!

Karate is more of a personal thing like a pocket knife or in your case maybe a compact (its not meant to be bragged upon or shown in public) egotistical people don't do well in Karate. Try something like yoga dance etc.

he will probably be impressed by the fact that you are doing something to look after yourself and be fit, active, healthy and learning to defend yourself as well as learn the values associated to martial arts.but i doubt he would be impressed by the fact that you may be able to beat him up and i wouldnt think he would be scared of you.and well thats not quite what guys think about anyway when they meet "chicks" as you put it.lol.find a good freestyle karate and do it for the reasons i said not to get guys.

as long as he has a black belt lol

besides that it depends on the personality ( aggressive) . I would not mind because as Plato teaches athletes make for the better musicians because they learn to balance temperament with grace and harmony and is a Good relationship

It's cool as long as you don't become ridiculous. Some girls take a class in self-defense and think they can take on grown men. I've met girls who really and truly thought they could fight me, when the truth was that I could literally have killed them in about thirty seconds. Just don't become a delusional and repellent butch freak, and you will be okay. In fact, I think you're pretty hot- IM me!
