The Nets' season is obviously lost. Should they just try to get better position in the draft by "resting their main guys"? I mean just a few slots higher, say... the tenth pick, is good enough to get them a quality big. Good job keeping Vince and Jason. I'm not too enamored on giving away Kidd so I think they should trade him away to get a better pick if their pick is not that high. Obviously they aren't getting the top two picks no matter what so if they can get even the third that would do wonders for them.

Do you think that this observation is true, that if you want to have world class striking skills you need to start very early. I'm sure it is somewhat similar with grappling but not to the same extent. It seems that striking is something that to become at a high professional boxing or kickboxing level you should start very young. Grappling on the other hand seems like as long as you start in your late teens you can still be great. Striking you can too but the odds are almost impossible. Seems like most boxers start very young Oscar, Floyd, Ali, Ray Robinson all started in elementary school.

I could be way off I would like some opinions.

Trump wont shave his head, he doesnt have a thing to gain from it, once Mania is over he wont ever do a thing with WWE, ans surely he wont have a shaved head on the Apprentice. Also, Vince wants to tought Lashley as an unbeatable monster to get ECW going, so surely he wont have him lose to Umaga. Who else guarantees a win by Lashley?

I am currently looking to find a school where I live that teaches Hung Gar and Tai Chi Chuan. I would like to one day possibly teach one of these arts, so I was wondering about how long does it take to reach black sash, and after that how long to reach instructor status. I will be the first to admit I know nothing about the sport. But, would probably like it too. I just think we should all stay in our own topics...Either get real, are find something else to do. Those of us who talk Nascar are not stupid, rednecks, and hillbillies. We just know what we like. He talks about wanting privacy in his life and being a private person, yet he has all these mega endorsement deals. There is nothing wrong with huge endorsement deals but you can't expect privacy when you go around exposing yourself on tv and using your image to make money. How can you say you are a private person and expect privacy when you court publicity?

He gets uptight when everyone stares at him as if he is not comfortable with it, yet he is the one who creates this by signing these endorsment deals and exposing himself for everyone to see.

He also tries to act like he is more cultured and educated than the typical athlete, yet he marries a supermodel, curses loudly on TV and doesn't have much time for fans. Nothing wrong with cursing or marrying a model or not signing autographs, but don't try to act like an interesting, grateful, educated and cultured person because it smacks of hypocrisy.
