Randori Wins as Bluto stated
Fact (not a happy one to many )
I know this as do many who trained No Randori
I had to face a fact and so does everyone else.
It is a GOOD fact though, it will better you.
Randori rules in Self Defense skills.
But learn weapons if ya wanna be safe
Remember
Kung Fu as a word can relate to Washing Dishes
Choy Lee Fut is a system that is technique based
If you know the given technique perfect, why would a piece of
cloth around your waist delegate if you can share this wisdom with another?
We need tutors in the world, and with more than fighting skills (But they help)
To many I am the only teachers here, and then you see what they teach and watch the world go to crap.
Most Martial Arts here were created under the precept of
Buddhism , which strickly forbids violence.

depends.
Do you want to actualy teach something usefull or do you want to teach crap and make excuses why your art is "too deadly to spar".
we have a student who, before he began training was teaching others for a very long period of time. However once he came and found that he had to use his stuff against a resisting opponent, it didn't work. Here you have this "master" who, thought he had some knowledge, but in reality was unable to effectively use his art because he wasn't training against a resisting opponent. In reality he was (at the time) less experienced than the least experienced student at that time, despite having had many years experience in martial arts.
I'm not bragging, this is not saying how good "we" are, this is saying how bad poor training makes you.
poor training of this type is worse than no training.
My suggestion to you would be to find a school- don't worry about sashes and such. that trains realistically.
IMO drop the pajamas too- It might be traditional "chinese" wear from many many many years ago- but I don't see chinese dressing like vikings or brazillians wearing togas. I think you might scare away people who want to train hard with the air of LARPing. (live action role playing- in short, playing dress-up).
Make sure you know how to USE the techniques against a fully resisting opponent, sparring, and most importantly, how to convey that knowledge to a student.
No matter how good a fighter you are, the cold-hard truth is that some fighters just don't make good teachers.
Would you want mike tyson as your boxing coach? (aside from the mandatory three ring circuis and comedic value that will follow?)

the business company could no longer be making a earnings however the the persons in charge could be paying the instructors, who could in basic terms ensue to be an analogous human beings, a extra effectual than extraordinarily first rate salary and that is not being carried out out of the goodness of their coronary heart to unfold their artwork. And From what I see you in user-friendly terms get one 2 hour escrima classification each and every week. This looks a splash costly to me. there are various different Kali/eskrima/arnis colleges in the london section. look into some and attempt their unfastened trials then %. the only you like the superb. From what I see on their website they have over elaborated on some user-friendly concepts, yet I genuinely have heard some sturdy issues approximately Steve tappin who grew to become into their instructor. yet having reported that some persons are sturdy on the previous self advertising. i think i'm saying suck it and see.

to become a kungfu instructor and be a black belt it should probably take 5-10 years...u need to have much discipline bcuz just bcuz your a black belt doesnt mean u've mastered anything...ive seen plenty of black belts that dont deserve it...but after you become a black belt you can choose to either teach at your current 1st dan or wait many years and reach master level at 5th dan

You have to pick up a large pot of boiling water with your forarms to mark them with images of the Dragon and Phoenix... and be sure to listen to the blind master Grasshopper.
and look like David Carradine... That helps I hear?
Either that, or the phone book.
