I had an injury to my quad and looked horrible, so I got cut. I am about 5'9", and not the most athletic girl in the world but I have a fairly good shot and play good defense. I am pretty quick down the court but my jump isn't too great. I'm not a good ball handler at all. I just want to know if you think I could work on some skills and make a comeback as a junior. If so, what skills should I focus on and how? I really love this game and am miserable that I won't get to play this year. Help!

The shoe by itself is about $43 and the "shin guards" are about $29. The only diference I noticed is that for $119, the two don't come separately. Has anybody tried both ways and seen a diference? Also, do I buy in a size that I will or will not need socks? I've used chest waders with socks, but I think water IS going to be inside the reef boots. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

it seems to me i always see so many empty seats when i watch a hockey game thats hosted in the states.. especially the southern states..

do you guys not care about hockey?
is it because you don't really have ice in the southern states?

With Tiki Barber retiring, and with Curtis Martin's career being almost over, I thought about Thurman Thomas and Andre Reed. Reed ranks 4th all time in receptions, and Thomas is 10th or 11th in total rushing yards, yet I never hear their names mentioned for the hall. Martin's a shoe in, but if Barber is being mentioned, I think Thomas should get some consideration. I also think that Reed should be a slam dunk.

Let me know what you guys think, and please don't bring up the 4 super bowl losses, because this is an individual honor not a team thing.

I have a 10 speed (2x5) road bike, a French motobecane from the late 80s or the early 90s. I just got it and the first thing I did was replace the rear rim, tire, and tube. It is all greased up. When I am in the two highest gears the chain likes to skip/slip/jump, especially when I am pushing as hard as I can. If I try to pedal softly and evenly it will be fine, just when I press hard. What are some things that could be causing this? This has a freewheel and not a cassette.
