Out of the AFC
Teams to watch
- Indianapolis Colts
- San Diego Chargers
- New England Patriots
- Denver Broncos
Out of the NFC
Teams to watch
- Chicago Bears
- Carolina Panthers
My Quick Prediction
New England vs Chicago
Peyton Manning cannot win a big game. Chargers QB Rivers is too young to tell. Jake Plummer isn't that good and the usual reliable D, isn't as reliable. I'm favoring the Patriots because of Brady's experience and he has proven that he can lead his team to victory in big games.
The AFC team will win the Super Bowl this year.
Watch out for Rex Grossman of the Chicago Bears. You never know what you are going to get out of him. Good week here, bad week there! Carolina Panthers QB Jake Delhomme has the playoff experience and has led a team to a Super Bowl before. Panthers are not dominant right now but they may be when playoffs roll around. I'm still picking the Bears since they have been good enough to win 9 games so far.

In the AFC; my brain says Baltimore Sorry Peyton and Indy.
They look the same as they did the year they won with Trent Dilfer. Baltimores D knows how to transform themselves into an offensive unit when they force a turnover.
My fear says New England.
They never quit.
My heart would like a miracle finish and see either Pittsburgh repeat or because I'm a New Yorker, a REALLY REAL MIRACLE and somehow the Jets get there and win.
No, I'm not delusional. LOL :-)
Would you rather I had said the Bills?
In the NFC; my heart and some of my brain says The New Orleans Saints. Drew, stop throwing those INTs. BE PATIENT.
The other part of my brain says none of the NFC seem good enough to beat whoever represents the AFC.
My fear says Carolina. I don't see them having enough defense to stop any of those high octane passing games of the AFC any division.
And because I'm a New Yorker, another really real miracle finish for the Giants.
They're not as good as their record; yet somehow they have a winning record.

You guys that have the Giants going to the superbowl... Are you for real? I understand you live in NY and your fans but get real. That's like a guy in Chicago saying the Cubs are gonna win the world series just because he lives in Chicago. The Giants are falling apart.
And don't get me started on the Seattle or Indianapolis people. The Seahawks are done! And the Colts have been talking superbowl for the last 5 years. But Peyton can't get it done in the big game.

Chargers vs Panthers.
Colts were exposed (again). Grossman and Plummer will in no way be able to carry their teams to the big game. Romo with falter for the Cowboys. The Giants....well they just suck.
Two of the best players in the league will meet in the big game. Steve Smith for the Panthers is a phenomenal athlete. Catches everything that comes his way and then turns the jets on. And Tomlinson for the Chargers. A class act. He deserves to go to the game. With what he and the Chargers are doing right now, in a time where Shottenheimer notoriously lets the team fall.
Chargers and panthers in the Bowl. that was my preseason prediction, and is still staying strong as my current prediction....Go Bolts

I think either Colts or Chargers vs. the Bears.
If the Colts can get healthy on defense, keep home field through the playoffs, I would got with the Colts because Schottenheimer is the worst coach in the history of the NFL playoffs.
If not above...then Chargers and Bears, with the game totally being decided on how far Grossman has he head up his **** for the game.

The Colts are definatly gonna be there. I know we didnt win against the Cowboys but it helped us to see where our issues are early in the season and we can fix them no and have an amazing win-out all the way to the SUper BOWL!!!!

I would love to say, "the COlts", but, they aren't nearly as good as the record indicates, but, da' Bears are! Look out NFL here come da' Bears. By the way, whoever replied with the multiple choices apparently doesn't understand your question. He/she listed several teams......only one team wins the Superbowl.
