I think he would be a good choice, but in the Free Press they are reporting that he is not interested...if his heart isn't 100% in it, then I wouldn't sell him on the job.

Yes; it's almost a done deal. Mariucci is from Michigan and he and the basketball coach are the best of friends. Mariucci was offered a couple of jobs but many say he was holding out for the MSU job.

noooo absolutely not, Mooch is an NFL coach, he's not meant for college, we need someone with a winning college record, not another John L or Bobby Williams, prefably someone from the SEC or ACC who can bring a spread offense and fast defense. And for the record, in response to the above answer, MSU had a terrible basketball program untill they hired Izzo, so... all we need is a coach and we'll bring in the talent, GO GREEN GO WHITE!!

Yes. I think he's more suited for the college game a la Steve Spurrier. Spurrier was a washout in the NFL, but in college, he's almost undeniable. Same with Mariucci.

I don't know if they should, or, if they will offer him enough cash, but, I do believe if he is receptive, He will be the next coach at MSU. His best bud is their hoops coach.
