I'm a USC fan and if USC was to go to the BCS title it would be a mixed blessing first the good part is being in the game but the bad part is you have to play Ohio State. Ohio State looks so tough with that QB Smith. The offense has everything.

So no I don't think they are overrated but I do see some holes in the armor. They are not as good on defense as the stats suggest. Teams with great wide receivers will be able to move the ball maybe not enough to win though.

All you can do is play the teams on your schedule. If you beat them all, and many experts rate some of those as the best in the nation, including the second best, and win, how can you say they are over rated. Are most of the experts wrong? Maybe but that is what we have. I guess a total playoff taking the top 8 teams and lasting 3 weeks would answer the question but we don't seem very close to that, unfortunately. Everything else is speculation.

They are not overated and ofcourse michigan fans are going to say they are. I for one hope that michigan doesn't get a rematch they had their shot and the only way the game was that close was cause of a few questionable calls by the refs in which kept it as close as it was. If it wasn't for the calls osu would have won by 14. This game was really hyped up and you can tell that abc was tring all it could to amp up the game and anyone that knows football can clearly see that osu was the better team. Michigan fans can wish for a rematch all they want but even if they do get it osu will still win the national championship.

Of course they can be beaten...Everyone can..But to say they are overrated is ridiculous...They have a perfect record an amazing offense led by a great QB...Granted their defense isn't amazing but it is pretty good..They also beat two #2's in the nation in the same season..Also if you ask me I don't think our offense or defense played all that well against Michigan..We had a couple of unlikely turnovers that got converted into 10pts..I think Michigan got lucky they didn't get beat by 13...

WHAT?!? how are people saying yes, they are one of only two undefeated teams, they knocked off a number 2 team twice this year and have the nations longest winning streak. and whoever said michigan has a better team, two sets of numbers for you,
5 of last 6, and 42 - 39

lol overrated. people kill me. They say we are overratd and texas will prove it, we blow them out. they say we are overrated and iowa will prove it, we blow them out. they say we are overrated and michigan will prove it, we beat them as well. What mroe do they have to do to convince people they are the best team in the nation? they beat the #2 team twice this year and the only reason they didnt beat the #1 team is because they have been #1 all year long. people are just going to hate for the sake of hating. USC was the best before, Miami was, and now its OSU who is the best. Why is that so hard to handle?

No, they're not overrated. Michigan is, especially when you consider that not only did Ohio State beat them head-to-head, but OSU had larger margins of victories against all six of their common opponents (Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Penn State).

How can this team be "over" rated? What team would you put above them? Of course, they are beatable, but that doesn't mean they deserve less than the number 1 rank. Based on their record, performance and schedule, they are the top team.

how can you be overrated when you are undefeated, going to the championship game, have the clearcut heisman winner, and have beaten the number 2 team in the country twice? they may not blow out whoever they play in the championship game, and as an osu fan, they may not even win if they play michigan a second time, but they are NOT overrated.
