Savage makes one for $100 if you look for it. The Marlin Model 60 is also a cheap choice and is fairly reliable. If I was going for a .22 semi-auto, I'd spend the money for a Ruger 10/22.

I'd say the Marlin model 60.You can usually pick one up used for 40-80 dollars.New they're about 150.

IF quality does not matter, check Wal-Mart. They have some model for like 90 bucks new....they have some smaller pump action ones for a little cheaper....they work but they are not great.

Wal-Mart usally carries a Savage .22 long rifle. Depending on where you live, they usually run about a hundred bucks.

Jon, you might try to go to a gun dealer and select one there.
Semi-autos are more expensive than others. Just ask the
clerks there.
