i have had 3 hand guns and i have liked them all. i had a taurus pt92 i think? and a walther and a crappy walmart one... but now i want a new one. preferably inexpensive, like not over around 50 bucks, and i know there are some out there. i dont need the best one ever i jsut wana play around with friends.im thinking ill probably get one at a sporting goods store... i know that i DONT want a shotgun, and i cant afford a gas gun and electrics suck... so any opinions would be awesome, please remember the circumstances and what i want.... thanks!!

isnt cricket just baseball with certain varibles such as the pitching is underhand, ball is a lil different, bats are flat, and just some other little rule changes of scoring and a couple other obstacles? maybe its just me but i dont understand it... im not bashing the sport or anything though...

To me, it's a foregone conclusion that he is leaving. If I were Steelers' management, I'd have to be thinking ahead for a replacement. The two most likely candidates would be Russ Grim and Ken Whisenhunt. If one is selected over the other, the other will most likely leave for a head coaching job elsewhere. They are both primed for their own team. Or will the Steelers go outside the organization to replace Cowher?

I am an avid cyclist and I'm 7 pounds away from my perfect ideal weight. My boss suggested this diet which doesn't eliminate carbs..but drastically reduces them. This diet worked wonders for him and the three days I've been on it I can tell it'll do the trick! For my morning 25 mile rides I've been eating a bowl of high protein/fiber no sugar added cereal. It is not on the diet of course but I feel I need it and once I get home I follow the diet. This Saturday will be my first long distance ride on this diet. I'm spending 4-5 hours riding and I know some bowl of ceral isn't cutting it. I typically bring with me some gatorade (pure sugar goodness) and granola bars or some other quick eating carb/sugar source. Biking well comes before weight loss so if I gotta screw the diet then screw the diet. But I'd like to know if anyone out there has experience with low carb diets and bicycling. Any advice on what I should eat would be appreciated.

The course is dotted by trees. Never a favoutire of Tiger's, although he won there back in 1999.
I think a lessr known golfer will triumph, which is usually the case with the PGA.
But I hope either Goosen or Olazabal can win another Major and join that elite list of players, who have won 3 or more majors.

I mean, I love sports, don't get me wrong, but have you ever really thought about some of them? Like hockey, you get some guys on the ice, and they chase a little rubber puck up and down the ice for an hour. Golf: you spend hours in the sun and heat, hitting this stupid little white ball trying to get it in a hole. And I personally still don't understand the attraction behond watching 2 guys beat each other sensless in boxing. There are others, I know, but have you ever really thought about what a sport would sound like if you had to explain it to someone who had never heard of it before, and how either stupid or strange it would sound?

I thought of this while reading the answers to the question about players with five tools. When you look at a player's stats, does batting average really tell you much?

As an example, I notice that Ichiro has a .324 average to Adam Dunn's .252. However, Dunn actually reaches base more often than Ichiro, he has scored as many runs as Ichiro, and his power numbers are far better. So does it really matter if a guy hits for average, as long as he has power and gets on base in other ways?

It's not just today's guys, either. HOFers like Mike Schmidt (.267) and Reggie Jackson (.262) weren't exactly five-toolers, but it didn't seem to matter.
