The Chemistry between the crew was lacking maybe it will get better with time.
THe biggest problem with Dennis Miller is he was an entertainer and was not knowlagable in sports. Kornheiser knows his stuff and hopefull will get more comfortable in time

Tony's great, but MNF is not the best arena for what he does best, which is to savagely belittle the pompous gasbags of the world.
There's only so much airtime during a football game, and you need more than 5 second windows to interject something smart and snarky. He can't be himself given the constraints of MNF, both in time and the fact that ESPN probably doesn't want him ripping into people.
The best thing for the current set up would be to give Tony free rein in jabbing Joe Theesemann (phonetic spelling of his given birth name), who knows everything about football and learned some interesting tidbits when he had dinner with a player/coach Thursday night. Watch for how many times Theesemann says one course of action is the only logical choice, then a coach does the opposite and he praises the coach's decision. Nice.

I think Tony is great and he will get better with each game. Plus there's a big difference between Tony and Dennis......Tony has had sports radio talk show in the past and has worked on other sports televisonshows.
Dennis on the other hand wasnt a good fit at all because prior to MNF all he did was political and cultural commentary.. no sports experience. Also, I think Joe theismann is better off on the sidelines keeping his biased comments to himself. instead were stuck with the guy. I think Ill stick with sunday night footballwith Madden and Michaels..

He lloked nervous and I didn't think he and Theisman hit it off too well. I think Theisman is kind of uppity at times as it is but I didn't see too much that said they got along. It is still the first show and I always hated three in the booth on MNF anyways so perhaps I am biased.

I really liked him on PTI but I'm not sure I see him doing well on MNF. I don't understand why they think they need 3 people in the booth. Mike Tirico and Joe Theisman would be plenty in the booth. Who knows, the guys making those decisions make a lot more than me, but I don't understand it.

The new crew is terrible!!!!!!!!! Sunday night is the best now. What ever happened to the old crew from ESPN on Sunday night. I could live with those guys at least. To answer your question Kornheiser sucks and Tirico blows.

Here's the problem...I actually liked Dennis Miller on MNF.
Having said that...Tony can stay...the other two (Tirico and especially Theisman) have to go!

I'd have to see him a few more times, but right now I'd say the MNF team blows...Theisman sucks!

I think his name is Tony and he put that loser Joe Theismann in his place several times. I like Tony.
