I am entering my freshman year of college this fall....and I need a job for next summer. I live in Boston, and I heard that many college students go up to Alaska for the summer to work as deckhands or in some other capacity in the fishing industry. The money is great so I hear. How can I go about applying and consequently obtaining a job as an Alaskan deckhand or a similar job. I would love to go up to Alaska and work in that beautiful state. Anyone and everyone please chime in.

They've had good players like Jason Richardson(the most under-rated player in the NBA, should've made the allstar last year), Baron Davis(former allstar, and a great point guard), and Troy Murphy(a decent big man that averages a double double and can shoot the three) combined with young players like Ike Diogu and Monta Ellis, but some how they can't seem to make the playoffs. It's been 12 seasons since their last playoff appearance ... i believe it's the longest playoff drought in NBA history ... WTF?! even the Clippers made the playoffs last season ... I hope the Warriors the best of luck for this upcoming season.

I am a 31 year old guy that is a die hard Packers fan that moved to the Tampa Bay area 5 years ago. It was hard at first, but the Bucs are growing on me. I would have to say that I feel they will do well. Decent QB, good young receivers, and a super strong running game. And as usual, I feel that their defense will be successful. I would say 11-5 or 12-4. Maybe a shot at the NFC championship game. With Gruden, you never know. Chucky!!!

Best manager in baseball. In both leagues.
Who has done the best job this year.

Has to be either Jim Leyland or Joe Girardi.

Jim took the tigers to the best record in baseball.
He had talent. Lots of it.
But the team was used to loosing.

The Florida marlins have the lowest payroll in baseball. By far. At 14 million.
The next lowest is Tampa with 35 million.
And the team is ok.
With little talent.

Which is the best in baseball.
There really are no other choices.

Maybe Ozzie. With a ton of pressure. He has the second best record in baseball.

But it is really between Jim Leyland or Joe Girardi
