It was!! Lita actually cheated on Matt Hardy with Edge in real life. This was six months after Edge got married! The WWE fired Hardy for making it public, then re-hired him after the fans started chanting "you screwed matt" during all of Edge or Lita's matches. Vince McMahon, who always thrives on real-life drama, made it a storyline going into last year's Summerslam and set up a match between Matt Hardy and Edge. Edge won, and eventually Matt was moved back to Smackdown. They are now no longer seeing each other, but the storyline remains intact.

Yes, i think that the relationship between Edge and Lita is real. I read on wwe.com that Edge and his wife ( Val Venus's sister) had broken up, leading to a new relationship with Amy Dumas (Lita) shortly after the two divorced, Edge and Lita were seen together. Who knows what is going on!

Yes it is completely real. They both destroyed their previous relationships to be with one another so I guess they deserve each other.
