Honestly, I can't stand a good chunk of them (Particularly Pierzynski, I hate that guy and I still think Liriano got robbed by having him picked for the All Star game), but I do quite like and respect Jim Thome.
Also of note: as much as I like him, there is no way THome deserves to be MVP this year. Off the top of my head: Liriano, Verlander, Jered Weaver, Ortiz and Papelbon all deserve it more.

My son wante me to post that his favorite Sox player is number 49 Chris Sale. He is the lefty pitcher for the Sox and my son is a lefty

Joe Crede. This guy has high expectations for him his whole career and hes finally coming around the last two years. He is a great clutch offensive player and plays gold glove defense.

my choices would have to be Buehrle,Konerko,& Thome,and if Thome isnt chosen as AL MVP this year,then Sox fans on the South Side should consider raising some serious hell this year

Pitcher: Mark Buerhle (he did good last year)
Closer: Bobby Jenks (i see a very bright future for him)
Batter: Jim Thome it was a very good pick up for Chicago Dye is good too

I love "Mr Doubles" A.J. Pierzynski. He was my favorite Minnesota Twin and I was mad when they drafted Joe Mauer because I knew that meant A.J.'s days were numbered.
