I have only played goalie twice in my life but due to an injury to our goalie, I'll be playing the position for the rest of the season. I have noticed the following situations that I need some tips to handle:
1. One on one with an opposing player. Although I do charge the player, I'm not sure if I should dive feet-first or to one or the other side? Which is better?
2. On a corner kick, where is it best to stand and what should I do if the ball is slightly away from me but there's a chance for me to punch it away. Should I take the chance?
3. On a free kick (on my right, for example), where should the wall set-up and where should I stand?
4. If two opposing forwards have only one of my defenders on one of them, should I try to block the pass to the other play or stay in my net and play the shot?
5. Are there any specific goalie stretches that I should do before the game?
6. Any other tips in terms of directing the defense, etc. would be much appreciated.

Thanks so much!

I do not eat or drink anything 2 hours before I run. Sometimes I get the cramps and sometimes I don't. I can't figure out what may be causing them. Am I just out of shape? I have been running about 5 miles a day for a couple of weeks and about twice a week I will get bad cramps. However, they are not so bad that I have to stop and walk, but they are bad enough that I can not increase my pace to that which I desire. I breathe through my mouth only when running, not my nose.

Am I just out of shape? I just recently started running, but I can remember having this problem since I was a child when jogging. I never had this problem when I played soccer or biking.

Will it go away when I am in better shape or what? Some sound advice would be great.
Thanks.

The millenium stadium is a proper ground, only 130 mill to build as well compared to the 10 squillion on wem-ber-lee, with ale houses aplenty within falling over drunk distance of the turnstiles. The charity shield will be me 8th time down there and we've had a ball every time, be it on the day trip, weekender, for a win or a defeat. Obviously it's gotta go to wembley to start paying off the huge loan but all you cockney fans, arsenal, chelsea, west ham and any one else who's been down would you rather have cardiff or wembley with it bieng on your doorstep.
