I am also a Habs fan and I must admit; I'm somewhat happy with what they did during the off season. Mike Johnson is a good player that will bring some robustness to a team that needs some size.
Samsonov is an explosive player that will definitely contribute with some much needed scoring.
But, I am frustrated at Gainey for not going after a good centre. The word after the playoffs was, "we need a centre to feed Kovalev".
Marc Savard was the best centre available, they didn't even try to sign him for whatever reason... Even Arnott would'Ve been good in order to add size.
Hopefully, Bouillon's knee issue is not a big one and he will be ready for the begining of the season.

New York Rangers -
In general I'm happy with what they've done. Getting both Shanahan and Cullen I think will help out their offense, but I think they're still a few moves away from actually getting to the Eastern Conference Finals.
I think if they can avoid the injury bug, they could end up #1 or #2 in the conference, and at least win one round of the playoffs.
But only time will tell-

My team is Edmonton. Obviously with losing Pronger, Peca, Samsanov, Spacek and the rest, I'm not too happy with what we've done. But we did get Lupil who will be a great line mate for Hemsky and I think we'll be even faster than we were last season. But we desperately need some help on the blue line, I think Bergeron will really step up this year.

Everyone saying that they dont like what there team is doing should try not to worry. Everyone in Buffalo hated the Sabres for not going out and signing any big name players. My hockey coach has been a center ice 12 rows up season ticket holder for 25 years and he cancelled them last year thats how mad people were. Looks like it worked out for them so who knows.
And currently Buffalo has not done too much i would of like to see them keep Mckee but not for 4 million a year and picking up Spacek is fine by me.

My team is the carolina hurricanes., ilike their changes, They won the stanley cup i am happy about that, they have good respectable players, that when they hurt someone they try to keep in touch with that player and make sure they are ok,like what Justin Williams done to Koivu (since u[cary l] like to go on and on about that) Justin did try to make sure Koivu was alright. that is what i like about the players. I like that they brought back shane willis.

my team is the Red Wings and I would like to see them not sign so many older veterans and get the kids we have in the minors up from the AHL.
