interesting question.There could be some debate on that question.I think Walter Johnson was good in his day.The fifties I would say Bob Feller.The 60's Sandy Koufax.The 70's Nolan Ryan.The 80's Roger Clemens.Now a days it would have to be Randy Johnson or Pedro Martinez

I can not believe that NOLAN RYAN was only mentioned once........ this man has more no hitters than anyone ever will,besides if you are a batter thinking about charging the mound unless you want an *** kickin I dont suggest it

Nolan Ryan, fewer wins than most but way more dominant. No one will ever touch his strikeout record or his no hitter record. I think Koufax would have been better if not for injury though.
