The situation:

Runner on first. Pitcher delivers the ball and hits the batter but the umpire yells balk before the pitcher can stop his delivery. Does the batter get first base or is it a dead ball and the runner simply go to second base with the batter still at bat?

I think I know the answer, but I want to know what you all think.

We live in Florida, and are planning two-three snowboard trips to the same part of CO for the 2006-2007 ski season. We intentionally did this so that we could get a season pass and save on each week that we go. We are going to the Keystone/Breck area, so I've heard of the "Ski 3" pass, but from what I've read, you MUST purchase it in person in CO in Sept or Oct? We aren't going until December...help!

I just buy the Wilson tennis balls online and it say that it is "Regular Duty Felt For Clay & Indoor Court Surfaces." The thing is that I plan to use the balls for outdoor court to practice for the upcoming season. I just wanted to know if is it ok to use those balls on the outdoor courts? Does it will make any different? Some ppl say that the balls will be exploded if play on the outdoor court? Is it true??
