OO. Thats a good question. Well that was the same situation with Nolan Ryan. Greg is kind of on the trading block so he might not finish his career as a Cub. If he gets traded he will probably choose Atlanta, but if he does finish as a Cub the choice will be up to him. I personally would like to see him wear the A on his hat rather than the C, but thats just me. O and andresalonso21, he got his first CY Young in his last season as a Cub. 20 and 11 record, 2.18 ERA.

Greg Maddux will definitely go as an Atlanta Brave. With the Braves, he won 4 Cy Young Awards and was the leader on a very dominant pitching staff that had John Smoltz, Tom Glavine and Kevin Millwood. With the Cubs, Maddux is just another pitcher and he has not been able to duplicate his success in Chicago from his Atlanta years.

Maddux will probable circulate into HOF donning a Braves cap on his plaque. He gained 3 consecutive Cy Youngs with the Braves and a international sequence. he will ultimately be joined in Cooperstown via his different Braves front line pitchers - Glavine and Smoltz. He pitched for the Cubs, Braves, Cubs (2d time), Dodgers, Padres and Dodgers (2d time).

I hope he goes in as a Brave... The Cubs sucked the first time he was there and the suck this time around... and to be honest he has been less than stellar since he left the Braves... The time he was in Atlanta was his Prime... I would love to see Mattox, Glavin and Smoltz all go in as Braves.

He'll go with the Braves most likely, but he might go as both, you can do that. Look at Rod Carew, and Nolan Ryan. Ryan is in the Hall Of Fame with the Rangers and Angels

Great Question. I think he's got to go in as a Brave. The bulk of his accomplishments were there, and it would be great to see him and glavine and smoltz all with braves hats, all go in around the same time.

Gotta be the Braves!
To add on to what a previous answerer said....it's not the player's decision which cap they wear on the plaque. It's the HOF's decision.

It's his choice. Although Carlton Fisk played a lot more games as a member of the White Sox he chose to go in as a member of the Red Sox because he was feuding with White Sox Management at the time.

This is always a contreversy, and in this age of free agency it's silly to represent one single team or city at all. The feeling of belonging to a certain team is gone, the pride in the team/city you play for is gone. I predict there will be no more team association with the plaques pretty soon. All will know of their accomplishments, and where they did what, but to go in as a representative of a certain team is now hypocritical.
