The New York Post said the Yankees were considering sending Alex Rodriguez, Melky Cabrera and a player to be named (my bet: developing minor leaguer) to the Phillies for Abreu, Pat Burrell, David Bell and Tom Gordon.
This trade gives the Yankees some outfielders and bullpen help. This trade the Phillies a star, and an outfielder. here would be their line-ups.

TO ME I CHOOSE STREETBALL PLAYERS BECAUSE THEY CAN DO SO MUCH AND BE VERY ENTERTAINING ON THE COURT, I LOVE THE NBA AND ITS PLAYERS BUT IT DOESN'T REALLY APPEAL TO ME ANYMORE, NOTHING EXCITING EVER HAPPENS EXCEPT FIGHTS AND PROBLEMS AMONGST EACH OTHER, I MEAN A LITTLE EXCITMENT HAPPENS IN THE GAMES AND EVEN THE ALL-STAR GAME WASN'T REALLY FUN TO LOOK AT! Is it common to wait until draft day (which is one week before the season opener) to select the draft order.

Or do most leagues choose that ahead of time so people can start planning and mock drafting?

We have draft day on Labor Day weekend and they just selected the random order. Is that fair?

My grandfather and I are in a skirmisher's club. This is a club where we fight using spears, swords, daggers,etc... most people at the club use armor of sorts, (the weapons are really sharp!) my grandfather says you can make chainmail out of #10 copper wire. is this true if so, how? need to figure this out soon. also, what should I use as tips for my spears? what makes a great blade for swords and daggers and such?
