Are they a established team or are they rebuilding?

Rebuilding, but they're doing a decent job of putting the pieces into place.

With Steve Hutchison and Artis Hicks added to an O-line that already hda Bryant McKinnie and Matt Birk, Chester Taylor should have no problem being productive. And Brad Johnson, who can still play, is the starter while Tavaris Jackson takes a season to learn the system. Troy Williamson, Travis Taylor, Koren Robinson and Marcus Robinson make a decent WR corps, and Kleinsasser and Wiggins should still have a few more productive years in them. The defense has plenty of good players (although the LB positions, while full of talent, seem a little unsettled.)

To be a "rebuilding team", it helps to have a youth movement. And while the team has signed nine free agents, IIRC, they also have brought in eight Day One draft picks over the last two years. Suffice to say, the Vikings are not going to look much like past Vikings teams, so there's room for hope this season and beyond. However, even if the team manages to have a good record this season, I doubt they're aiming for Super Bowl XLI. Rather, they're putting the pieces in place for several years of success, and that makes them a "rebuilding team."

May your Vikings have the best of luck against all teams except my Steelers. ;)

I'm not a Vikings fan here but i do not just think about one man, but the whole team.

The MN Vikings have a tough scedule, i think the toughest that i know of.

But considering what Brad Childress has done to the Eagles they will be a playoff contendor. Why? Well let me give you a list.

1) Before McNabb got Injured, before T.O got suspended, BEFORE B. Westbrook got injured, Brad Childress (New Head Coach of MN Vikes) brought the Eagles to Rank ONE(1) Offence. Think of what he can do as a head coach.

2) Any good player helps a team win, they have one of the best Guards (Steve Hutchingson) they have the best FB (Tony Richardson) Brad Johnson brought the Vikings to a winning season with a 7-2 record, and that was AFTER the boat cruise thing.

3) The VIkings took AWAY the reason why Shaun Alexandra became MVP (Steve Hutchingson) they took away the running game from Kansas City (Tony Richardson)

4) Darren Sharper is ranked 3 in Field Safety right now, Koren Robinson had an awsome year last year.

5)Antoine Winfield is one of the best CB

6)Big Pat/Kevin William can dominate the run.

7)Also the most embarressing (To Giants fan) is that the Vikings can win with NO Offense at ALL (Remember Giants Vs Vikings game?) HOW Embarresing was that loosign to a team who didn't gain even 30 yards? Pretty Embarresing i bet.

8) The Bears cannot do anything at all on offense, Packers comming back with Brett Favre (He'll be throwing more IT's) Lions Stink (No affense)

See im not just looking at ONE player like the rest fo you people do. You can't just count on 1 player, you need to look at the team people! THE TEAM! I think i made my points.

NO, Favre could have his each year flop, as large as he's Brett cant sceem to circulate an entire season the final couple of year in the past he breaks down, sorry Viking followers large Bowl New England over New Orleans ***as much as I hate the Pats, Theres not extra proper coach accessible than Belichick, and Brady will basically get extra proper because of the fact the season is going on.
