How do u think the Cardinals will do in the upcoming season with the addition of their linemen, James, and now Matt Leinart once they sign him? I see it all the time on here, used both correctly and incorrectly. Lots of "Big Papi is clutch" (true) and "Arod isn't clutch" (untrue if anyone bothers to check the stats).

And haven't Bill James and the statheads argued that it might not even exist, that "clutch" hitting provides too small a sample size to be relevant, and that most players will tend towards the mean given enough chances? I think some clutch guys do exist - Mike Sweeney is an obvious example of a guy who picks it up with guys on base.

It just seems to me that people throw it around here, and on TV/radio, without really knowing whether or not it's true.

I want to increase my reactions and movement speed, becoming very quick on my feet is my primary goal. I would also like to join one that includes a belt ranking system, but I would prefer the ranks to be earned through ability, not necessarily the amount of time spent.
