Being a bandwagon Seahawks fan from Seattle I am just wondering, the Cardinals a heisman winning quarterback and a dependable running back... will this duo combined with Anquan and Fitzgerald be enough to put them relatively close to Seattle, or are there still too many holes in the d.

I've thought the same thing. I believe that the offense will pack a better punch this year, but there are still too many questions surrounding their defense.

Last season Warner was doing awesome until he got injured. Watch for him to do some spectacular things with the receivers he has. James has already proven himself over in Indy, if the line holds up he should easily be able to shread 1000 yards this year. In the end, the Seahawks are too much for them.

Sure, the Cards have a lot of talent on offense, but anyone who knows football will tell you, it all starts with the offensive line. Not enough was done in the offseason in my opinion to upgrade the offensive line. Edgerrin James is a heck of a back, but he can't create holes on his own. Cards had zero running game last year, and that's why their passing numbers were so gaudy. Another reason for that was because they were always playing from behind. Doesn't matter who is throwing the ball, Warner or Leinart, if they don't have a running game, and are constantly being pressured, they won't be able to move the ball effectively enough to score. Dennis Green is a great coach though, and Arizona will win more games this season than last. I put them at 7-9, or maybe 8-8.

The Cardinals will be hard to stop on offense but they still have holes to fill on defense and I think their secondary is a little suspect. I still give the Seahawks the edge because of overall deph, a better defense, and experience.

I am comparing the Cardinals to those Chiefs teams of the past couple years. They are going to light up the score boards but thier defense will lose the games for them. I don't expect them to do much until they stack up their defense.

I doubt it.... the organization has been a joke for years and the ownership hasn't changed. Unless Bill Bidwill lets someone who know football run the organization, they will continue to fail.
