Yes! If you can play to that, you are already better than the majority of the people you see out playing golf.
Keep working on your game! You have potential.
Have Fun too.

Yes. I've been playing golf for about 28 years and I'm a 10 handicap (self-taught, no lessons), usually playing from the championship tees.
Look at it this way -- you're less than one stroke per hole away from being a scratch golfer. What other folks have said about being able to break 100 is true -- not many can do it. I'm happy when I break 80 and my best round is 74. My personal goal is to shoot (or beat) par one day, and I'm always working to get a single-digit handicap.
Always set a goal for yourself to improve. Right now I'm working on tempo and hitting a controlled fade off the tee. Want to lower your score quickly? Work on your short game around the green. Practice chipping and putting -- more than half of your shots in a round come from on or around the green. Practice longer shots from 100 yards and in. Improve in those areas and your handicap will drop.

Yes, that is very good for any golfer. only 1 to 2 percent of golfers worldwide break 100. Just keep practicing and above all when your out on the course keep your cool and keep a positive attitude and you will see your handicap drop.

Well it really matters what kind of courses you play. I play executive and championship, so mine could be great or ok. On an executive course i have a 17 handicap, and on a championship, my best was a 10 handicap. Your fine, cause i too have played for 2 years. Keep it up, i might see you out there someday.

It's a good start, better than many, not as good as a few,. You could play on school golf teams, but by the time your 16-17 you'd want it in single digits to be good.

It is much easier to be good at golf at a young age. Most people decline once their bodies fully develop so make sure you keep playing alot.
