They've got talent, they just don't get angry after an 18-0 loss! The kids chasing the foul balls show more desire than some of the players. When I'm on the mound, I'm starting to feel like a junk ball-has been. I want some of these younger guys to take over this team but they just don't seem to understand how fortunate they are to have the opportunity to play, or how much this amatuer baseball team means to this small farming community of 800. Please help with some words of wisdom. Any success stories from other small town clubs that turned things around and became a productive/competitive squad? Am I just hoping for something that just isn't there? Even more interesting... with our one win season, we're still pulling in three times as many fans as our competitors and making about a $1,000 in concessions a game. Sincerely, 109stitches.

P.S. - If your a former major leaguer & would like to experience a fun small town baseball atmoshphere, we'll plan a day around your visit.

Please say spain.I want spain to win since i was born so i really need spain to win.I also want Portugal to win and Romania but I dont think they have much chance altho they dont have such a hard group the hardest teams are the Netherlands and Bulgaria but i think they can beat Bulgaria easily but the Netherlands will be harder, but i dont know if Romania ever beat the Netherlands but i still want spain to win the most because thay have Raul and thats my favorite player so Go Spain Go! and Go Portugal Go! and also Go Romania Go! Wade doesn't see the defenses Kobe and LeBron see night in and night out. These guys see double and triple teams night after night. Dallas rarely doubled Wade because they had to focus so much on Shaq and the perimeter 3s. The big thing here is that many stars shine on Dallas' defense. Kobe had 62 on them in 33 minutes and only took like 26 attempts. Not to take anything from Wade, but I think if Kobe and Bron were played 1on 1 it would be bad for the defense. Wade isn't doubled because now teams double Shaq before he even gets the ball.
